What If

If all at once the birds stopped singing
And faded into memories
Would ever again our air be so melodic
If all at once the dogs stopped barking
And left beyond our gaze
Could humanity find a new friend
If all at once the trees toppled over
And rotted right away
Where then would we find shade
If all at once all humanity perished
And passed into the land of shade
If all at once human strustures crumbled
And were never seen again
All animals that we need to live
Would they mourn our passing
Would any bird need to sing us a parting dirge
Would any dog need us to play
Would any tree need us to help it grow
What would all these creatures need from us?

They would need love. For even though everything seems to balance out, the hard truth is there. This world - human or animal - is cruel, you have no place and so you need to create one. Not just be apart of the crowd. But stand out and tell of your beliefs. Such a thing is possible and that day will happen. Hopefully not in this lifetime but another. I only hope people see what's inside more of the outside, that's what really counts..... And yes, we are still friends, I hope to leave it at that - No more, No less - that's final.
