General update...

Not that much to say, which is why I've not really updated anything...

Missing Smartie a lot and I think it's really hit home WHAT about him I miss as there's a cat at West Riding Cat Rescue who reminds me very much of him. He doesn't look anything like him, but his attitude was so like Smartie that I was in tears before I got home. Keep welling up and feeling a bit silly, but I really wish I could take this cat home. Mookie is a little nut-ball in his own little crazy world and he makes me smile and Izzy is starting to come out of herself, sitting on my knee occassionally, but she's also in her own little world and if she doesn't want you around, she'll tell you in no uncertain terms. Smartie, on the other hand, lived in my world... If I needed a hug, he knew it. He'd come and sit on my knee and purr for no reason other than he wanted to say he loved me and wanted to spend some time with me... I miss that and this cat at the rescue just wanted to sit on my knee and be loved and give love in return...

I've finally found some buyers for my house... Hopefully this should go through in the near future, but it's all getting a bit frustrating, so that's all I'm saying for now...

We've decorated the back bedroom in Stephen's house. It's a lovely truffle-chocolate on one wall and a very (almost white) pale tone of the truffle on the other walls. We managed to get a nice carpet to match (bleachable for potential kitty/pizza accidents), and have moved my computer in. I'm hoping to get a huge bookcase (as I've found out the new bookcase I got only holds about 1/3 of the books we own) and a massive beanbag so I can sit in and read. It's a very chilled out room. :)

Well... I've been looking at the potential of doing a degree course, part time, at Leeds. I've been thoroughly dissappointed in them as they advertise "part time", but it's actually a literal "half the number of hours, but still spread throughout the week like a full time course". So It's not an option. Therefore my options are a) give up, b) Open University or c) Full Time University.

I don't really want to do full time, as I'd really have to rely on Stephen to support me all of the way through the course. I'd have to give up work and to be honest, I like my job (despite the commute, which is starting to get to me).

I've then looked into the possibility of Open University, and I think this is the route I'm going to take, but I've been disappointed so far in that work have said they're very unlikely to be able to support me in any way throughout the course. They're still investigating some possibilities, so I'll let you know...

Maelstrom is happening at the weekend, so I'm looking forward to that - my back's been playing up a bit recently, so I'm hoping it'll be OK and the weather won't be too cold...

Also - I'm still a bit addicted to wow... this isn't improving! :P
