what a wonderful evening! oh, i had so much fun at the grill party! it went late, too. and even later, in fact, but i didn't go to the bar with them. we all headed out at midnight, the majority of them to the bar, and marlis and i walked back here together. she's another one from osu, the girlfriend of another osu guy studying here in bonn.

Seems like it was just old and messed with too much, can't be all your fault. Aaand there should be screws where the cables are, anyway. Someone was really lucky when he/she put the light up. That plastic lid that came out should click shut or try turning it to fasten it. If that doesn't work it's not your fault at all, tape it. ;)

thanks, but i think it really was my fault. i don't know what it looked like before (it's not exactly a point of interest for me) but i'm sure it was nowhere near that bad. so much got torn off that there's not hope of it going back onto the ceiling. but there's a metal hook in there, and my friend just hung the cord from it and pushed the casing back up, covering everything. it only needs to hold for five mores days...
