i'm glad we're livejournal friends again, i like reading what you have to say about everything, because most of the people on my livejournal friends list, including myself, talk about stupid things that don't matter.

i never watch tv and we don't get the newspaper so i had no idea that it hadn't gotten so bad.

oh so am i! and no, you don't talk about stupid things that don't matter. anymore than the average person, anyways. we all ramble sometimes. but if the person matters, than what they have to say matters (mostly, anyways, lol). =)

yeah i don't watch tv or get a newspaper either. but yahoo is my default home page and of course, the yahoo news coverage just floats all over it and i can't help but get drawn away from whatever i had intended to do online because i was distracted by the headlines. i don't think i could have believed it had gotten that bad if i hadn't been reading all along and seen those pics they have. it's just incredible. incredible in such a horrible way.

'anarchy in the us' that's been used here too.

I'm opposite to you, but for some reason i can't bear to watch it. My mom and sister were watching this report on it, and it showed all the devastation and interviewed some people and it just ends up making me cry. The other day when it just all came about i remember watching the news and even the reporter broke down when it was talking to a man who couldn't find his wife.

at the moment i just hate how people are so quick to lay blame on someone or bring out the 'i told you so' Now isn't the time for any of that crap and it pisses me off.

I hope your friend is alright and you hear from her soon
