But I'm so glad wasn't Ron or Lupin that I ended up fairly happy with the ending. Like you, my relief eclipsed Sirius death somewhat :(
I really liked James Potter's development, and Harry's reaction. Probably a stand out moment for me, and also Neville just rocks! I ::heart:: Neville.

Ron is probably my favorite student character. Early on in the book, when Mrs. Weasley first saw the boggart as Ron... I was horrified.
Before I even opened the book, I was so very sure it was going to be Hagrid, so I definitely experienced some surprise.
I guess I just love reading Harry so much, that I cherished every word. I'm sure there could have been some editing, it's true... but I guess I'm glad to have every word *grin*

Hmm, I have to admit, Hagrid never entered my mind until Harry got to Hogwarts and Hagrid was missing. I really thought it was going to be Ron, with a slight inkling that it might be Draco. And desperately hoping it wasn't going to be either.
