Hanwei swords withdraws from the UK - shock news

Shock news this morning. I'm leaving this as a rare public post because this news is dreadful and I'd appreciate friends pointing people in its direction so that awareness spreads while those who can work to turn the situation around do their damnest. That explains why i cant get the 2 small swords that i have had on order for the last 3 months!
Just hope we can get stuff from a French or German distributor.

We wanted two practical sideswords and two Washington swords. They are apparently expected in the coming batch. We ended up cancelling the order until they are in, because there was no point dragging the order out.

Rick's bigggest fear on this is that Hanwei will tell other European dealers not to trade with the UK so that they are effectively using an embargo to express protest with the UK government over the recent legislation.

True but at least we can still get basic fencing blades and make up more suitable gurds etc to go on them especially for things like small swords.
worse comes to worse i am happy to find a sympathetic supplier in say France or Germany who will sell stuff direct for cash and then what say we take a road trip once or twice a year to stock up?
