I am reading a book that Missy told me I should read titled "Am I beautiful". Reading this book strikes more cords with me than one. A question risen and then shot down just about everyday. Reading this book has brought a few things to mind, some good and some bad. It is good to know that I am not the only one that feels this way... a wallflower,

We all struggle with those thoughts, girl. We wonder if we're something enough and that people will accept us the way we are. I think it's hard to be vulnerable about this since we wonder if we are being selfish or over analytical about ourselves. Yet how we view ourselves determines our core. We all have these thoughts. I don't know what I can say to let you know that you are beautiful, that the Maker and Creator of the universe chose the very details long before you were in that tiny womb that makes you Amber Collette. You are one of a kind, created in the image of God. (Genesis 1:26,27... also mentioned in Gen. 9:6)

You say that you are nervous about posting this. Let me just encourage you with James 5:16 -- "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
