I Smell INCREDIBLE.

I would like to write some BPAL reviews.

Some of my rarer blends (and V-Day). )

I'm glad the Lab shipping times have become so fast, because I always find that out of a big collection, there are only a few that I really love. With the Yule line it is Peacock Queen all the way (I've hoarded a couple of bottles!). With Lupercalia, it was Khajuraho and Smut. I swapped for an imp of Red Lantern but it smelled like a smoky tobacco shop on me. :(

I never get an entire line; I wait for the reviews to come in. A lot of people liked Khajuraho, so I picked up a secondhand bottle...alas. At least it wasn't at an inflated price.

Isn't it weird how certain notes like and dislike certain people? I smell great as a smoky tobacco shop, and I'm a nonsmoker. :)

And musk tends to really like me. As do roses, if they are not all sharp and soapy. Usually the sweeter, the better. But the lovely thing about BPAL is that there is always someone who loves the perfume that doesn't work on you so you can swap or sell!

I'm swapping my Smut for Red Lantern, which I hope will be better on me. Smut was ok, but I was just kind of meh about it.

I'd kind of like to try Snow White, actually. I had high hopes for Rose Red and Parlement of Foules, too, but they're also sort of disappointing.

I must rave about Jacob's Ladder more, though, because it is like the most gorgeous thing I have ever smelled. I slathered and then went around demanding that people smell me. Apparently it was a little potent. Oops.

I'm afraid to try Jacob's Ladder; amber gives me headaches.

Good luck with the Red Lantern! I can see why so many people are hoarding it.
