Turns out that Antique Lace is profoundly "meh" on my skin. I got bored and switched to Blood Kiss after an hour. At least they don't clash. ( Current purse contents... )
Sure, I wouldn't mind that. If you click the "bpal" tag in this post, you can find my wishlist (fairly far down the page) and a list of scents that I'm planning to or thinking about getting rid of. (Because shipping just one imp never seems quite worth it.) The Antique Lace is about top-of-label full. Do you have a wishlist or getting-rid-of list?
Also, isn't there some problem with customs? How do international shippers handle that?
Current get-rid-of list is -- La Belle Au Bois Dormant (tested lightly once) -- Two, Five and Seven (1 unlabelled decant, fairly full; 1 imp above label) -- Bathsheba (just below label) -- Sacred Whore of Babylon (just below label) -- Honey Moon (fairly full decant) -- Catherine (just below label) -- Follow Me Boy (at label) -- Blood Rose (just below label) -- Hecate (at label) -- Rose Red (fairly full decant) -- Hellcat (just below label) I think Honey Moon is the only one on your list ... I also have 5 mls of Sugar Skull 2005, Luperci and Parlement of Foules, but am picky about what I'd swap them for ... the imps, less picky. I also have untested frimps of -- Queen Gertrude -- Aizen-Myoo -- Saint-Germain -- Penthus -- Sloth -- Arachne -- Desdemona -- Jolly Roger and strongly suspect that none of them will be my kind of thing.
I've never tried Antique Lace, but several people on my flist swear by it. I'm so full up of imps right now though, that I've got to plow through the ones I have as much as I can before my Peony Moon order C&S's.
I think I have weird skin chemistry. I can wear really overwhelming scents, and thus have a hoard of Peacock Queen, Venus and All Saint's 2005 that others were eager to unload on me. I'm also a scent-eater. Once I wore Spellbound, which packs a pretty potent punch (it's amber, musk and rose). I was meeting another BPALista friend, and of course enacted the greeting ritual of BPAListas everywhere: "Sniff me!" She could barely smell a thing on me until she got up close...and this was Spellbound. You don't want to know how long light scents like Alice and Dana O'Shee last. (15 minutes, TOPS.)
