Weeding out the smellies

Pimping my own most recent BPAL sale, because that's the kind of person I am.

Oh gosh--em_h, I never got back to you on whether to swap for my Antique Lace. Let me check that now....

I don't mind swapping LEs for regulars, really; if it's something I'm not going to use, there's no point hoarding it here waiting for something better to come along. Anyway, it's not 100% full, though it is pretty full.

To avoid the bother of mailing a single imp, how about my Honey Moo and Aizen-Myoo for your Antique Lace and Wrath?

You can e-mail me at maggie AT web DOT net to exchange postal addresses.

Soundeth goodeth to me-eth, as my sister and I used to say. I'll be emailing you later today. :)

Have you swapped across the border before? I haven't; I know there's a forum thread somewhere, to avoid getting the oils stolen by customs.

I have quite often, yes. The only time I've ever had trouble is with actual shipments from the lab, because they look like commercial transactions; swaps I've never had trouble with. Two tips for filling out the customs form: check the box that says "gift", and say that it contains "used cosmetics". As long as you don't put a big commercial label on it or anything, it should probably be fine.

It does take a couple of weeks sometimes for things to travel between Canada and the US, but so far at least everything I've sent, or had sent to me, has arrived safely.
