I've been kind of hankering for Harry Potter lately, and I couldn't figure out why until I realized that it's summer: my heart says it's time for a new volume, and my brain has to tell it, sadly, not to expect one anymore.

Yeah, but HP movies are a winter event; when they finish those, I'll get sad around Thanksgiving too. :P

Speaking of addictive epics, I've vowed I will finally give Lord of the Rings a proper try as soon as it's published in a couple years.

Do you know, I spent a good bit of Saturday reading my old scraps of unpublished HP fic. (I was charging my laptop at Borders, which doesn't have free wifi, and was bored!)

Oh, I'm gonna miss HP book releases!

You know... when I saw the title of the entry it reminded me of the old computer animated Saturday morning cartoon...

So, I was a bit surprised to see that the entry wasn't about Bob the Guardian, Enzo, Dot, or Glitch.
