Have you heard anything about this new movie Push? From what I can gather, it's about superpowered people hiding from a government agency that wants to either weaponize or exterminate them, I can't tell.

You guys know I'm all over that, and I love superpowers to the extent that I remember Jumper as an exhilarating good time*, but I have to ask--is

I thought it looked okay. I mean, when you boil a plot down to that, almost every movie/book is the same. I mean, basically the plot for everything is: MC has a goal. Obstacles prevent MC from reaching that goal. MC overcomes obstacles. So there's nothing new. It has to be the way you tell the story.

Maybe there will be some really cool super powers. Or maybe Dakota Fanning will just scream a lot.
