Cool stuff. Hey, have you gotten any of the Presidential dollar coins? They're very similar to the Sacagawea dollars, but more awesome because I got a William Henry Harrison one.
So, you want to see them in circulation?
You can buy a $250 box of them from the Mint, and then use them (they are legal tender after all). Man, now I'm tempted to do that... We totally need to get usable $1 coins into circulation because, well, coins are far more fun than paper money.
I ran into some John Adamses, yeah...I wish they were smaller and thicker like the pound coin, though. Right now they're sort of big and clanky, and you can't count on them to fit into the soda machine. It was really nice to walk around with five, ten pounds in your pocket without worrying it would fall out and without it being too ostentatious.
Oh, fun! So short, though... I'm with you on the disappointment about the church. I mean, why go to a country that's been civilized for a couple thousand years and attend a church that's six months old?
Overseas flights are always more posh than domestic. Qantas serves surprisingly good dinners on theirs.
Oh gosh, I guess I didn't actually get around to mentioning that, did I? *._.* One of my church friends' work transferred him there for nine months, so he and his wife moved there about six months ago. The trip was to visit them. (So all the "seeing England" stuff was kind of secondary.) Reason enough. :)
