I have a Google alert set up for myself, which is awesome, because, as some of you know, my name is ridiculously common.* Usually it turns up links for the same few people--a very good high-school softball player, a dead writer, and a tattoo expert--but this week was especially awesome: in addition to writing about tattoos and winning a softball game, I was charged as an accessory to murder and won a vacation photo contest. I feel important.

*I actually went to school with one of me, and it wasn't a big school.
