I've done virtually no writing in the month of April, mostly due to Holy Week, the apartment move and my Spanish pursuits. (I never go to bed without doing a few pages out of the textbook my mom lent me. The oral exercises are really great -- though I can't imagine what my neighbor must think, if he can hear me through the walls.) Still, I think I'

You're lucky to be eligable, though. Maybe you should try out... I mean, it's in the summer, even if apps come at an inopportune time. Maybe you won't have enough time to fine-tune your application, but who knows who will apply, really? You might get in.

I still vote that you put Scarlet Raven up on the Sugar Quill as is, get feedback, and let it help you with the rework.

It's so good, I would love to see it there. We have some excellent reviewers who will be more than generous with their feedback.

I just don't want to post it until I feel like I can dedicate a lot of time to listening to and incorporating the feedback. I really appreciate your work on it, too, and don't want to reflect badly on your beta by posting something that's -okay-, but not actually -good-.

How about the first few chapters, then? It's the later ones that wanted more work, and people would be able to read part of it in the meantime. I mean, it's just so nicely done.
