i've barely recuperated from asoc camp (sunburn is so not fun!) because i've been working almost every day since it ended... -_- luckily my manager was nice enough to let me have today off.

just back from 3hrs of japanese which has totally sapped my brainpower, i'm feeling rather lethargic... and now i have another camp lined up for me tomorrow! ( Read more... )

日本語は非常に興味深いですね!
And their songs are nice, their food is uber, their girls are pretty... XD

What's it with girls learning Jap in Uni? My cousin, who just graduated in Class of '08 from NUS, took Jap and even went there on some exchange programme...

maria, i can't read kanji yet! still at hiragana, lol (: im a noob~

haha cool stuff man! before As ended i already wanted to start learning some jap, and i did some work with/for some japanese companies/clients, which i thought was an interesting experience. wearing home slippers around the workplace is v amusing and comfy. XD omg, i was totally hoping to go on an exchange programme to japan too, if funds and time permit.

Wrt Kanji, sama sama. I dropped out of my course after 1 year with half-baked Katakana and Kanji, but it's amazing how far basic conversational abilities will go to make a holiday easier in Japan, as I found out last year. Try chionging Jap as a Uni course; they might subsidise any exchange programmes to Pokemon land, but I'm only guessing.

And Facebook says you turn 19 tomorrow. Happy Birthday!

(: thanks edmund!

haha i'm not looking forward to learning katakana... it's not as pretty as hiragana so i don't think i'll feel inspired to look at it. LOL. cool stuff man... i'll try, i hope i can fit it in somehow. haha pokemon land -_-
