There was an actual reason for a long absence, besides the move (and I wonder if you'll get this). I had a seizure last year in May while driving and had an accident with two other cars. I'm now a criminal (criminal mischief second degree)...on probation...nearly able to start driving again (March 6th). I'd been driving for 15 years with the condition (epilepsy) and naturally the take of prosecution and court was that I should have known I'd have a seizure.
