It sucks they canceled the program...BUT! Through MTV's choose or lose program, and with other channels like VH1, they've registered like 5x as many teen voters than the amount that voted last year, not just registered. That seems pretty damn good to me. All's not lost this year, and I believe the teen population WILL be the deciding factor come this election(tomorrow) because of how persistant our media's been about voting. And I also agree, 85% of the teen population WILL vote for Kerry. Bush refused to do interviews with MTV and other teen voting programs while Kerry has, the teen pop. is def. for Kerry

they werent going out to get the teens though they were going out to get racine well all of racine excepte mount pleasant and caladonia...it was more bout gettin the middle aged lower class...just the people that dont vote....i mean...i think a lot of young people are going to vote but only peopple from the higher middle classes and up vote right now...they were trying to get all of the minorities and such to vote....plus it sucks for everyone who cant do it now...idk...i still think it is wrong

just because young people are voting more doesnt mean that over 60 % off racines population shouldnt vote or be able to get a ride to vote.....just because a couple people dont like it...

i want to get i publisides

Ok, I read it wrong, I just skimmed through, and thought it was primarily about teen voters.(which btw is a MUCH bigger population of people who didn't vote from last year) (Yeah, it is dumb that people who have a right, like voting, don't exercise it) Also, the middle ages, lower class population is VERY hard to pursuade to do things through the media because of their lack of interests that teens have.(which I see why this program would have been so good) One thing I still stand firm for, though, are all the programs telling teens to vote because it not only reaches to them, but the teens parents/relatives/friends, anyone they talk about voting to. This election WILL come down to the teen population because its so huge, and if Bush is elected again, we'll find out America's teen population IS lazy and undevoted to any kind of politics.
