I have been researching this since your posting and am now nearly done listening to that twenty minute conference video.

My brother has a very small batman tattoo on the center of his chest. The Batman has been our family's favorite super hero and this last series, having tackled the "dark avenger" concept, captured the minds of every intellect.

I think that's why it's so easy to reference.

From what I have learned thanks to you, it looks as though Aaron loved the whole 'good/bad+bad/good vs perception' of that story.

Having said all of that, I am only now tackling it from the perspective of something bigger and I can tell that I need to give it more thought.
