lol i didn't know until i arrived at Albertson's today where we were actually serving.
I've been to NYC about 5 times, San Fran, etc, I was only BORN in Miami, but I'm still incredibly nervous when I'm in inner-city areas or ghettos ! Idk why. I've never gotten over it. I'm so sheltered and judgmental. I've been trying to work on it by empathizing with the residents of those places .. trying to understand what it's like to live life by their circumstances each day.
