Well that's just bullshit. I had a friend in high school who still has scars 15 years later from when a chihuahua went freakin bonkers on her. She was 15 at the time. I'd be just as scared of my three year old getting attacked by a pomeranian than any other dog. Actually, from my personal experiences, larger breeds like pit bulls, boxers, rottweilers, etc. are WAY more relaxed and less likely to attack than the high strung little breeds. I'd trust Luci with a pit bull over a pomeranian any day lol
I completely agree with you. my mothers shi tzu bit my husband in the face. that little bastard dog ripped his jaw open. we had to go to the emergency room and get him stitches and a tetnis shot. and get antibiotics. this costs nearly $1000. he is lucky he ran and hid because had my husband got a hold of him he would have ripped it's head of. literally.he wasn't even messing with that dog. he was playing with our dog.
I know how loving they are when they have the right owner... I think that animal cops detroit should stop putting the fear in people! I mean, its set in michigan.. of course the animals are pissed... everyone is pissed in michigan!
also, my chihuahua could break skin, if he wanted to.
And when I was younger I was bit by a poodle. I still would love the curls out of a poodle, cause not all poodles are the same.
maybe you could dress your dog in a tie (if its a boy) then everyone would just assume he was a gentleman :)
I saw this comment that you are speaking of and it really upset me. It's unfortunate that most people aren't responsible pet parents like you and Joel. I wanted to comment on this thread but since it wasn't my blog/site, I didn't want to start any trouble. Alex and I have our beautiful, tween dachshund who doesn't need to wear a muzzle or have any regulations other than the standard dog. Dachshunds are loyal, intelligent, funny, and affectionate but they have also been voted the most aggressive dog breed (followed by chihuahuas and Jack Russells...wow, all LITTLE dogs). They are super overprotective, possessive and vicious. If someone came after Alex or me and seriously threatened us harm, she would most likely rip their throat out. I can't stand it when strangers feel like they (or their children) can just come up and touch my dog without asking me. I always have to defend myself and my dog when I have to pull her away or tell them she is protective, or just in a bad mood; I'm sorry. We don't have her for public entertainment. She
