You're so right about Kris being a helpless puppy at the mercy of others. Madu, Raja, Adam, the Queen and King are all playing a high stakes game. It would be ironic if Madu became attached to Kris and decides to keep him for himself. 2 Niscas fighting over a servant cum bard. More likely Madu will use Kris in his quest for power and cost Adam his title. Await #24!
