Same here!! House is brilliant - the character was perfectly written, and I swear Hugh Laurie was born for that role! XD And even though he (was) a drug addict and a jerk, you always end up rooting for him anyway. :P

Spike was my favorite for BtVS, too! I actually fell in love with him before ever watching the show because I would watch Spike/Buffy videos on YouTube. Then I fell in even more love when I actually started the show. Except now I ship Angel/Buffy. XD

I adore Hugh Laurie. Honestly, I heard about some of the other actors they had in the running to play House before they decided on Hugh.... and No one could add up to the array of abilities Hugh has for acting. Hugh can sum up an entire episode, whats happening and the answers to the questions by simply LOOKING. He has such a way with expressions. His eyes, and his face portray so much. He's so very talented. (I need to stop or I'll go on forever.) As for The character? I have a bit of a soft spot for House. I can never stomache how some of the other doctors treat him... even if he deserves it. I'm probably one of the only people happy to see House off the vicodin

Spike's first appearance was beyond awesome. The badass leather longcoat, the bleached hair, the "hello, bitches" 'tude. I was seven when that episode aired, and even then I knew how utterly epic he would be.

I have one big problem with House. I know the show's a medical drama and all, but the character is such a pain in the ass, he'd make a much better lawyer. (Believe me, I know. Both of my parents are lawyers.)

You knew Spike's epicness at the age of 7? Go you!

House would make a good lawyer. There's no doubt. He's certainly smart enough for it. But as for him being a doctor? that's his calling for sure. Do you watch House regularly?

Not anymore. I watched the first three seasons in about a week, then the ADHD switched settings from "hyperfocus" to "gerbil on speed". Now I watch occasionally, but not often enough to follow any character development.
