The Road

I've been re-reading Cormac McCarthy's The Road. A good book for gray rainy days. I particularly liked this passage:

Gorgeous writing, especially the trout description.

The characters move through a dead burnt landscape for the entire book, making the image of the brook trout especially powerful.
