I don't remember whether I've read the WK fic before, but even if I did it's like READING IT AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME. Yay goldfish memory! Yay my favorite character interaction-pair + one of my favorite WK writers. Ahhh, nostalgia.

that just means you're 1000% adhering to canon, lmao. also: it was awesome, ty for linking! as another commenter already said, i liked all the ranges of the what-ifs and how it wound up at the least-shitty conclusion, and although my heart sort of feels the unhappy ones are the most accurate (it's wk, they can't... not be miserable), i was so relieved there was also a happy light at the end of the tunnel. i keep a squishy heart in a box that i occasionally put inside my robot chestplate.

my wk fic lacks blood and psychic powers, though. :D and thanks, i'm glad you liked it! wk is not wk without the angst and insanity, but i do have a tendency to write fic which doesn't actually reflect what i think - like, i don't think post-glühen non-amnesiac youji would have been anywhere near as sane as he appears in the fic, but it had to be written that way, so..!
