General likes/dislikes:
I'd love fic of any (mix of) mood(s) and length. Slice-of-life fic, character studies, vignettes, plotty fic - it's all cool. I quite enjoy fic in which nothing much actually happens, if that helps.
I'm a gen fan, but pairingfic (slash or het, also awkward triangles/other geometric arrangements) is fine too. However, I'm allergic to pr0n/smut/general sexual hijinks. If you want to write pairingfic, I'd prefer UST rather than passionate declarations of love/lust/happy fluffy romance/angsty doomed romance/etc.

Casshern Sins
Characters: Casshern (Casshern Sins)
I'd love any fic that captures the melancholic beauty of this series, and some of the tragedy of Casshern's existence. Perhaps a coda to the series - what did Casshern do, after everything? Or perhaps more of the brief familial happiness seen in episode 24? A look at his lonely amnesiac existence in early episodes?
I'd prefer something not too 'shippy, but non-explicit Casshern/Lyuze or Casshern/Dio UST would be great. I also prefer my angst understated and restrained, rather than overly emotional.
I think that covers it. Though I like my fic emotionally restrained, that doesn't mean it can't be dark and bleak as well.
Academic Institutions (Anthropomorfic)
Characters: University of Oxford
Long story short: I was an undergrad at Oxford a few years ago, I loved my time there, and hence I'd like fic that captures the feel of the city and the university. This is a pretty personal request, and I'm sorry, but I'd really rather not receive fic which gets the place wrong.
Um, that having been said - I'd just like something slice-of-life-ish. Perhaps Oxford goes for a walk in Magdalen/Christ Church/Port Meadow/wherever and muses about the past and future? Perhaps he and Cambridge can have tea with an undercurrent of old rivalry/UST/nostalgia? Perhaps he has to deal with inter-college kerfuffles? (Feel free to indulge in college stereotypes, as long as it doesn't become offensive.)
While I appreciate progressive themes in fic, and would love to see them addressed (but with subtlety, and in-character for the institutions), I think Oxford and many of its constituent colleges are probably White English Men. (I used to think they would be Old White English Men, like your stereotypical don, but there's also the option of representing them as students!) But there are the colleges which began as women's colleges; and maybe some of the new graduate colleges can break the mould?
Sorry for being so demanding about this request, but Oxford is very dear to me, and I'd hate to see it written in a way that strikes me as wrong. ._.
To that end, um - my request details cover most of the important points, I think. Feel free to include other UK unis, or the constituent colleges.
Kimi to Boku
Characters: Asaba Yuuki, Asaba Yuuta
The twins are possibly my favourite characters in the series, but please feel free to include the others - I like pretty much all of the central cast, except Akira. ^^;
I would love something a bit wistful/poignant/bittersweet, maybe about growing up and growing apart. But I do love the overall happy/fluffy feel of the series, and would be thrilled with a fic that basically reads like a chapter of the manga. :D Just - no pairings, please. (Except the Shun-Chizuru-Masaki triangle, I guess, since it's canon.)
You know how the manga sometimes has these wistful/poignant/gently heartbreaking moments? I'd love something like that, but fic-length. (I received pitch-perfect fic - silly, fluffy, hilarious - for this series in 2009, so that particular craving has been sated.)
However! As much as I'd like poignant fic, getting more fic that stays true to the gentle, fluffy, irreverent mood of the series would be more than fine. In fact, it would be amazing. I adore this series.
Classical Philosophy RPF
Characters: Plato (philosopher)
Sorry to be boring, but I'm not at all interested in pairingfic. What I'd love is something with a strong sense of setting or history, or something involving intellectual debate. Perhaps fic set in the Academy? Plato with his current students, reminiscing about Socrates? Just Plato and Socrates? Plato in his old age, looking back?
Just to note: my background is in philosophy (and not even with a strong focus on the ancients, oops) rather than classics, and I'm afraid I don't actually know Greek.
As above. I don't have any specialist knowledge about that time period, and I've only read some of Plato's work, so... no worries?
