Your place in Dinkytown was pretty cool, though yeah, loud almost all the time (but exciting!?). I'm sure you don't miss Blarney's, but being by the Dinkytowner (I sorta miss it in all it's dingy basement glory), two bookstores and a handful of coffee shops was probably nice. I would go to Al's so much more if it was right downstairs, but yeah, I could see that grease smell getting old fast. Now that I live alone, I spend a lot of time at home. Partially because I'm a bit outta the loop as to certain and sudden haps, but also because it's nice. So I read a lot, nap a lot and watch a lot of movies. Did I mention I have a breakfast nook-- perfect for drinking tea and eating Count Chocula in. That's a plus.
But yes, I should be better about my pop-ins, preferably before we're all S.A.D. and frosted over.
