choosing your major

Wow I haven't posted in here in a long time.. I've been busy with third term. This term has been a lot more difficult for me.. and I dropped EE 52, but I'm still not getting much sleep.. But I'm not blogging to talk about my classes.. or about events in my life. Talk to me to get those ( Read more... )

I've actually been thinking about this a bit, and it seems like you should pick some sort of job that you can enjoy. But the thing is, you have to be able to enjoy it for like...a really long time. So you have to like it a lot. And the way I figure is, once you have a job and a family and such, hobby time shrinks considerably. And so having hobbies on the side is nice and all, but you can't hate what you're spending at least 40 hours a week doing, you know?

I suppose that, ideally, your hobby would be your job.

...of course, as we all know, there is a rather large rift between ideals and reality. A pity, really.

but then again you could always move to Korea and become a professional Starcraft player... hmmmm... Yes, that is what you should do. Major in Starcraft.
