i go back sunday. i'm slowly getting my syllabuses from classes through email. getting assignments and books needed. and now, i've volunteered to write a story due on the 23rd for my advanced fiction class. god, i hate how i feel the need to volunteer for everything my professors (that i like) ask. but then again, it's an extra 1/3 letter grade and

you know i had a dream the other night that i wrote a story...it was just weird that i read your livejournal lol. idk i dreamed a wrote a story actually about dreams. like this group of people discovered accidentally how to have an out of body experience inside their dreams where they were living them out until they woke up. and the whole plot was them talking to different dream interpreters and learning slowly how to control their dreams so they are out of the dangers that their dreams were causing them. idk mebbe u can take it somewhere. im never gonna write it.

what are some of the guidelines for this story?

same as last semester... pretty much whatever i want.

has to have a complete story arc (unless i can justify why it doesn't.)
has to have developed characters (unless i can justify why it doesn't.)
must be original, unusual, considers familiar in fresh light.
sentences must be coherant and use original wording.
must have a theme. (everything has a theme).
beginning has some focus to it.
may take a risk (by breaking any of the above)
