I was just thinking about doing that today! I took out my nostril stud about a month ago-- had been my first non-ear piercing, and I had had it for something like five years, but... it was time. I was just telling a friend this morning that I should take out my tongue piercing, since it hasn't gotten any use in a long while, and most times just hinders enunciation.
