The pictures of Bled are beautiful, thanks. I look forward to someday visiting it. No wonder you want to stay. :)

I found that there is a gift of going through what we already know with new ears, both ours and others. This is the gift of going through the "basics" after being a Baha'i for so many years, with people who are hearing it for the first time. Our group found that even some of us who have been Baha'is for many years didn't know some of the detail that was in the Ruhi books. I hope most tutors recognize the importance of the students embelishing on the information. It is part of the gift we all bring to the circle of knowledge.

I trust that the deepening of understanding and renewal of enthusiasm is what everyone one of all Religions experience when they revisit the Holy Spirit in the form they connect with.

book 7 really helps to impress the importance of 'extra curricular' study. while it suggests that there are times when embellashing may go too far, it also says how important it is to make the study circle more dynamic with other stories. our tutor was a wealth of wonderful stories from iran, as she had grown up in iran. it really helped to set the stage, she was able to give background info into some of the cities, and what it was like to go to them. like this city of Qum.

appearantly, Qum is an extreemly fanatical town. it's so fanatical that even everyday, ordinary iranians will take the trouble to drive around it to avoid entering the town. and to think of it in that light, and knowing that the Bab sent Mulla Husayn to teach in town, puts a lot of perspective in that story.
