Don't you just love drunks? It's usually pretty funny to watch them make complete fools of themselves... at their own expense, no less. At least you had someone with which to share the cheap entertainment!

Yeah stupid American born almost 60 years after the decision to drop the bombs. Why are you such a bastard?

I've experienced that too. In 1997 when I went to the Irish Summer School, several of us youth went to see a movie one evening...Ammeggedon. During the movie a couple of the youth started chanting (sarcastically) U S A, U S A, etc. I agreed that the movie was pretty dorky, and agreed that it shouldn't always be only America that saves the day in movies. One of them said, "Don't be condescending to me.", so I asked him how Irelands space program is coming along, and that pretty much put an end to it, while gaining me a number of new friends for being able to hold my own.

To be fair the USA did drop a few bombs just a decade ago onto BIH, so I think that is what the drunk had a problem with. Grant it it was in an effort to help but some big mistakes were made that cost lives...so...
But I never got why people get on the case of someone that really had nothing to do with "it" and might even be against "it".
