On Thurday night, I will be getting on a plane headed for Orlando. I have never been on a plane before, and I'm scared to death. Everyone has re-assured me that I'll be just fine and it isn't a big deal, but sometimes things that aren't a big deal to lots of people are a HUGE deal to me. I'm not quite sure how to combat my anxiety.

look out the window... watch the ground get smaller. take in the feeling of rapid acceleration and ascent. chew gum so as to relieve the pressure in your eardrums.

i fly about 5 times a year... i love it every time. i would be more worried about airport security than the plane itself if i were you.

just think of it as a bus, that is traveling at about 35,000 feet and at a speed of 530 mph.

haha thanks for the advice.....but the stuff you like about flying is EXACTLY what I DON'T like about it. I hope its as slow and smooth as possible.
