I do have a reputation for being a perfectionist and also for never giving up.

Working on this I often thought about your work on Journey with Frodo. To dig up all that information, all those quotes and put them into a story where a new instalment would make my day, that was great work.

Thanks for your kind words about 'Journey'. I will always regret being unable to finish it. I think that's the reason I've found it hard to go back to it to reread as I told myself I would, that feeling of something unfulfilled.

I don't see Journey as something unfulfilled. Every chapter shows us what that experience must have been for Elijah and the other cast members. That's what makes it so interesting.
I understand you would have liked to get to the Oscars but Elijah's story is a continuing story, and he said himself that Frodo's little shadow will always be with him.
What I'm trying to say here is that I'm very happy with what you did manage to do!
