So, am I really an old fart for not getting the fascination with Facebook and Twitter? Am I that out of touch now that I don't give a flying rat's ass what every Tom, Dick, and Harry is doing with themselves every hour of every day? I mean, really. Your old, it's okay. <3
I don't have twitter. I don't get it. So I guess I'm kinda old too in that respect. I have facebook, but it's mostly to play Sims and to update my parents/friends every so often on stuff (Cause my dad thinks its neat to recieve updates on his phone lol.) Though I've seen the drama on both facebook and twitter and that's enough for me never to really post anything or be on it much.

PS, you ever write Transformers fiction and I'm kicking you. lol.

I feel the same way. Sticking staunchly to LJ. I prefer more substantial posts and half the time I don't even understand what people are "twittering" about with all the leetspeak and symbols that they use. It's like a code.

It's good you managed to step back from your gaming addictions. I gave up World of Warcraft too when it simply ate up all my free time.

Yeah. I do love LJ for its ability to share complete thoughts and even more. WoW is neat but...it's worse than Everquest. It's a rpg with a social network built in. I'd never see the night of day again if I started playing it! Good for you for giving it up. :)
