Nice! Looking forward to seeing your LARP releases. :) I will admit I looked for the small change, but since I've only worked off of the pre-RTLB version of Marin, I wasn't able to pick it out. (The illustrations are DEFINITELY snazzy, though!)
Obfuscated a bit in case it's still possible to spoil the game. There is an instance where Character Sheet A says "You killed Character B with a knife." but Character Sheet B says "Character A killed you with a shotgun." I thought that might have been corrected (and that it would be the sort of thing that very few people would notice).
So there I was watching Babes in Arms for Lullaby of Broadway. They had been practicing the show within a show, I had seen several scenes of rehearsal already. And then the show within the show finally begins.
And it is a minstrel show.
Boom. Micky Rooney in blackface. Boom. Judy Garland in blackface. I was dumbfounded and appalled.
I explained it to i_Scribble later and she just couldn't understand my incredulity. Until I explained that minstrel in this sense didn't mean medieval bard, but something far, far worse. She had never heard the term before.
However, your guess is incorrect. I left the minstrel scene in for historical verisimilitude. (Not in LoB 1, where I specifically instructed the players that they could not have a minstrel show).
Oh wow, yes, it was baaad. I mean, the movie as a whole wasn't exactly good. There was like one scene where I actually cared about the characters. But, it wasn't the awful badness of the minstrel scene that came from effing nowhere! It had never been rehearsed before. It didn't fit with anything else. Aieee!
Mind, I read the final bit got edited out because the stars imitated President and Mrs. Roosevelt.
The very small change was to remove a prior address from the copyright page of the document. However, the file has been edited and reuploaded to address the issue sophistbastard raised above.
