Heading out with Hubby to take The Boy to see Mama Mia. It'll be his first attendance to a professional play. -
Hysteria @ Work
I came into the office to find co-worker D wiping down every surface she could find with Clorox. She tells me that co-worker K has been diagnosed with H1N1 flu. Status Update
College - things are going along well. I took three classes in the spring semester, and have completed two of the four classes for this semester.
Weight - lost almost 20 lbs since the first of the year. Can I make 30 by year end? Here's hoping.
Kids - they're great! Thanks for asking. -
Where has all the summer gone?
I went the whole summer without posting. Does that mean I didn't do anything or I was too busy doing stuff?

I did compose whole entries in my head while driving, but never got them onto the computer. -

I am a geek and I'm proud of it
There's so much I could say about the idiocy of the new SyFy channel, but I think Culture Geek pretty much covers it. RIP SciFi channel. I'd mourn you but I'm too busy living my life.

Weekend Update

Movies
Used the free rental at the local video store to get Penelope, which we all enjoyed. I'm afraid it's one of those good movies the studio didn't have a clue how to market.
Then, this afternoon, one of the cable channels was showing Enchanted April, one of my favorite movies not yet available on DVD. So, all-in-all good movie watching this weekend ( Read more... )
