I LOVE Janine - more and more every week. Her number with Brandon tonight was one of the best I've ever seen on the show. ♥

Yes, Janine! These last two weeks I've really found myself drawn to her. And the dance she did with Brandon this week was fierce. Really liked it!

Oooooh! I'm really enjoying going through his best ofs. Though I gotta tell you:

Penny and Charlie are probably Australia’s answer to a Benji/Donyelle or Katee/Joshua pairing: a couple, paired from the start, with immense chemistry and exceptional talent.

yeah, kind of makes me want to punch something. Penny was the most talentless dancer I'd seen in either the US or Australian top 20s since I've been watching. Though the chemistry part is kind of right. Charlie always was in love with her fake breasts.

It's always pretty sweet when someone else goes to the trouble of making the best-of lists. Although I don't agree with all of his choices, particularly as he left off some of my favourite ones - Neil and Sabra's table dance, Allison and Ivan's contemporary...

Hehe, well, it is a guy reviewing them... he may have been blinded by some of her *ahem* assets. I should see if I can get my hands on some of the Aussie SYTYCD episodes. My sister has been watching some clips on youtube and she says you guys had a really awesome second season.

:D those are some of my favourites too! they're the ones i always go back to watch.

yeah, the 2nd season was pretty good! i can't say i was personally as invested as i was in the 1st season (no rhys, you see), but there were definitely a lot of good dancers and routines.

You know, my sister and I were having a conversation along exactly the same lines last night. Everybody is very, very good. But there isn't just one individual (or a dance) who just really stands out for me this season.

I have enjoyed the pieces Travis Wall choreographed, but I'm still not sure I'd describe them as memorable.

Should be interesting to see the results tonight!

I know... I wonder with five seasons now whether we've really gone though all the memorable dancers. But that can't be it, not with the 300 million people to chose from in the US... I liked Travis's pieces too but they didn't feel special. Not memorable like some of the ones we've had in the past. But maybe that will change? I think he's doing another one tonight too.

Yeah, it will be interesting! Crossing my fingers that my favourite four will be safe tonight. :)

I don't watch it at all, but I do like seeing the routines (just can't abide all the crap in between). So thank you for the links! I like it when people who know stuff sift through and provide the good ones so I don't have to suffer through the bad. Helpful, that.

Well... my dirty secret now is that I don't actually watch it live anymore. I use DVR and fastforward through all the crap. It makes it much more bearable. :D But if you don't have that, then other people providing links to the best ones on Youtube is definitely helpful.
