interesting things I've learned from the TSA website

I will be visiting my sister at her grad school in the middle of the country at the end of October, so to prepare, I've been browsing the TSA website to make sure I'm aware of the evildoers flying next to me looking to cause havoc on the crucial pittsburg-chicago trade axis.

I've been trying to figure out why they call out KY as something that's definitely allowed aboard an aircraft. It seems rather random ... or, y'know, not. Each of those thoughts is disturbing in its own special way.

The KY is for those who need to catheterize themselves on an ongoing basis and for ostomy patients.

Hence why it's listed as a "essential non-prescription liquid medication."
