So I've been talking about going back to school in the Fall semester, at the JC.  I've really heard wonderful things about their RN program and know that's what I want to do. However there are a few issues Kevin and I have been disscusing

Apply for what aid you can get, and look to see what other schools are in the area that have nursing programs. Sure the JC may be really good, but if you have to wait YEARS to get in after you've worked your ass off to qualify?

But Kevin does have a point, it'll be extra hard to do well in school if you're stressing about bills and all that. If you get antsy (like I do) with the waiting around when you could be doing "SOMETHING BETTER" with your life, just take one class at a time. Sane Tristans are Happy Tristans, and I'm sure Kevin will appreciate that :-)

Kevin's point isn't invalid, but is there any notion on when his job or entry into the Union would be? It's hard to say in this economy when anyone will be working, so I don't know if you can afford to wait yourself, you know?

Take your time though, and don't burn out. Nurses are awesome.
