Lately there is a nice bunch of Slayers doujinshi at Yahoo Japan (I cannot tell the same about other fandoms) and for my surprise, this one is available:

Is the author seeing any of this money? She/He should auction her copies too!

I've tried to contact with her again. Zibaku has been unactive till know; I know she has become member of Pixiv.net, and she also is about to participate on the next douijin event.
But I think she isn't aware of this fact. It's a same because this book real price is around 500yens, only... but now it's 10.000Yens+else.

Today I've had a discussion about this matter with other people. Apparentely Japanese doujinkas just don't want to put their items for sale on actuations or in foreing shops because they're afraid of copyright laws. Sumarizing: A doujinka can sell his/her books, but she/he cannot make money with it. That's why this seller (and other many)cannot put their books on YahooJapan. It's illegal if the seller is the author him/herself.
If you ask me, it's idiotic, but that's how things work in Japan >_<

I'm always amazed at what causes bidding wars, but I love it when I find that same thing for much less! Sometimes we do get lucky. I'm no fan of adult doujinshi, but the art does look very good. That's great you got it for such a low price!

It was a present. Zibaku just gave it to me because it was a present she did for me. I am trully gratefull with her because of that. ^_^
I also am amazed of those bidding-wars. It's truly amazing how many money people can waste in such thing. I thought the record was in 240$ for a yaoi doujinshi on Ebay, but this time this is just TOO hight!-
And to tell the truth, the book is beautiful, but certainly it doesn't cost that much.

That's great. It sounds like you found a nice little treasure for yourself. I always liked Zibaku-Rei's art style. It's very cute and sweet. ^_^

Thank you and yes, her pics are just sweet and cute, and she also draws Zel very handsome. I'm very grateful with her gift. But I'm also scaried about for this bidding war. As much fan you are of certain author... 10.000Yens are 10.000yens!

I gladly would share doujin scans of this book with you people, but I cannot do that. Zibaku Rei asked me not sharing or scaning their private pictures. Besides, doing it wold bend the book. I must acomplish my word.

*nods* Perfectly understandable. Heaven knows that fans keep taking fanworks of Japanese artists without thinking that "maybe" the artists don't like this idea. So, I can see why she would want to limit the sharing.

Along the artist is active, probably he/She doesn't like the idea of his/her books being scanned and scattered around the net. I find it totally understable.

But what I don't find undestable is people that is able to waste 26.000Yens on this book O_______O
