My faith in trashy novels is restored! The heroes responsible for this miracle are Ms. Patricia Briggs and her lovely werewolves. I'm not even sure the book falls in the trashy category, because it is pretty well written and so far there's no sign of smuttage (I'm on page 180 and the steamiest scene involved an exchange of hard [har!] looks).

I'm ( Read more... )

Hi, I am Luana and I am also a fan of trashy novels. Well, classier trashy novels in my opinion ! hahahah
Come on, when i was 15, my dad gave me all Sidney Sheldon book collection w/ special cover - and one friend of mine LOST one , oh, I almost died, but now i dont care anymore!

I say classier because most of them are now considered cult. Take Marion Zimmer Bradley for instance. Apart from Mist of Avalon and all the others Celtic related, She has the darkover series ! Gosh, so typically trashy - outer space, multiple worlds, alien races combining....

My latest guilty pleasure is Rick Riordan. Do you know him already? He writes the "Percy jackson and the Olympians" saga.
I miss HP, so i found one that is actually a demigod. Probably the 14 -year- old Luana back in the day would looove this shit. The almost 28- pagan-Luana now is pleased to see kids taking interest in mythology again, and is glad someone wrote about them.

I'm gonna check out that site later on - a week's vacation in the end of july ,perhaps.
