Pepper
So Pepper died Sunday morning in Corpus. She was only 8 years old, which is young for a cockatiel (average lifespan is about 15 years). I cried, she was the most loving bird I ever had, the only one who sometimes thought she was human. I think my dad took it the hardest, since they became attached in the past year or so. Gender Issues
On Friday, one of the Medical assistants was looking at patient's OB forms and said "I can never tell which sign is for boy or girl", while staring at the two most common signs for male and female (the ones with circles), the one with an arrow circled to indicate the sex of the baby of a pregnant woman.
