Arashi Brigade Scrapbooking Project

Jul 20, 2010 21:11

 Hello all~

So, rainawallis and I are going to Japan this August for Kokuritsu and I had a flash of inspiration (inspired by those great fans in Singapore~!)  We're going to put together a fan-made scrapbook from all the US fans and deliver it to Keikarou and Aiba-mama~!  The reason that we're doing this is to try to encourage Arashi to come to America... or at the very least, to remind them how much they're loved over on this side of the Pacific.

Edit:  After much thought and consideration, I've decided to expand the project to include messages as well.  I have a whole army of translators... okay, 3... on hand ready to translate your messages into Japanese if you so desire.  Here's a link to the project that belcap did that gave me this idea to expand the book:  click here.  So, for those who want to participate but don't think that you could create a whole page, please PM me with your interest and I'll send you my e-mail address.  The theme of the message should still be:  What Arashi means to me.

Otherwise, you can still participate in the original idea below.

The instructions are simple:

1.  PM me for my address, for obvious reasons I'm not going to post it here.
2.  Create an 8 1/2 x 11 inch page using the theme: What Arashi means to me.
3.  Please keep it thin... so we can fit as many pages in as possible, please do not add anything too dimensional to the page.
4.  Please only use official Johnny's shop photos if you want to include images of the boys.  But really, pictures of you are better.  After all, they already know what they look like. (^_~)
5.  It must be delivered to me by August 12th, 2010.  This is not the post-marked date.  Please make note of it as I want to include as many pages as possible.
6.  Please write on the envelope: Photos - Do Not Bend.  I live in an apartment and would hate to have your hard work ruined by my insensitive NY postman. (^_^)
EDIT:  7.  Writing in Japanese or English is fine, though Japanese would be better for obvious reasons.

I know that this is really short notice but we found out that we got tickets only recently.  We'd like as many people as possible to participate so that they feel the love.  Also, Canadian/South American fans are more than welcome to participate~!

arashi, scrapbook
