I enjoyed this very, very much. A novel idea and very well executed.

There is a small typo, I believe:

...but where before it was accented in the warmest of browns and reds, there was no the coolness of green and silver.

I'm guessing the no should've been a now.

And Hermione is a tricky one, isn't she.
