Though I am a lifelong East Coast resident, I grew up visiting my grandma on the Gulf Coast of Florida every year and yes . . . when, long after she was gone, I went down to visit a friend who was teaching in Palm Beach, I was very confused NOT getting a sunset over the water. That was part of the Florida thing for me.
I had my last roommate at age 25, and M. moved in when I was 40. So . . . yeah. (I confess I wish my husband would go away for a few weeks! But that's because the apartment is so small.)
Oh I am right there with you in the tiny apartment camp. Ours has two separate rooms, but it still isn't very big. It's been a pleasure to spread out a little while I am on my own.

1. Steampunk 2. Singing 3. Tattoos 4. Colors 5. The Psalms 6. Sherlock 7. Museums
