Dude. You are about the sweetest thing ever as per usual <333 BUT. I've resigned myself to the fact that I cannot write plot to save my sorry life. About 9 years ago someone in the Star Trek: Voyager fandom was all "Everyone in your stories just sits around talking! That's the summary of all your stories! SO AND SO AND SUCH AND SUCH SIT AROUND TALKING!" And they were totally right. I've just given up all pretense to the contrary.

I had that same problem! I tried writing fic once, and had all this banter, but no plot. I tried and tried, and came up with nothing and the story never actually *went* anywhere so I just gave up.
