That's adorable, and very a intelligent argument as well. I love how you were able to work House's opinion in there without his actually being present.

And about halfway through the fic, I said to myself, "Self? Where is Foreman? I want to know what he thinks!" Then I read the ending, and giggled like mad.

That's so interesting that you say that, because I originally conceived of it with House there, but I think it achieved a greater intimacy as a scene without him there for some reason.

I love this ficlet...and leave it to Foreman to be the most pragmatic of all of them! It's kind of nice to read some good gen fic. :)

Hee! Yes, Foreman is terrrrribly pragmatic. For a long time I thought he was super uptight - I haven't totally gotten rid of that impression but at least we know now where some of his motives lie.
