Ouch, your poor ankle, I hope it'll get better soon. Boardwalk Empire is all kinds of amazing. Steve Buscemi blows my mind. There must be a season 2 at some point, there must be!
Thank you, bb. It's fine now, just hurts the tiniest bit. :)
OH AND THERE WILL BE. I CANNOT CONTAIN THE EXCITEMENT. Screaming at my television wasn't going to make it come back any sooner, though. Steve Buscemi is incredible, an absolute chameleon. The whole cast in incredible. I blame the casting choices for my shameful crush on Michael Pitt, gah. And I find Nelson attractive in a strange way, too.
Glad to hear that. :) Last time I sprained my ankle I could barely walk for weeks.
I don't remember all that many details from season 1, I watched it when it first came out. That's almost a year ago by now, isn't it? I think I will have to rewatch it before season 2 comes, or else I'll just be confused all the time. ;) I was almost afraid I wouldn't like Boardwalk Empire (because I found Mad Men pretty boring, and they both got the same kind of enthusastic "this is historically accurate and the best thing ever" reviews), but I loved it from episode 1. I hope Scorcese will be back to direct an episode.
I only started watching at the beginning of this month, and it's been little less than a year since it first came out. Well, hopefully they decide to do one of those "Previously on Boardwalk Empire." (They didn't do that enough in Season 1; when Jimmy's mother started sleeping with Luciano, who was apparently a really important character, I had no idea who he was until the show reminded me a couple of episodes later.) Oh, I was the exact same, though I do like Mad Men but I can see how those "historically accurate" aren't for everyone. The cinematography of Boardwalk Empire always gets me, it's an absolutely stunning show. Scorese is a man of many talents; any episode he directs is bound to be gold. :)
Thank you, bb! There is some advantage to being slightly injured though; I don't have to move off my lazy behind. But I fear it's mostly healed and now I have to function normally. WHYYYYYY. No more ladders for me, I tell you.

It does get better as it continues, though. PRETTY PEOPLE ARE PRETTY.
