I went to the evening service at Bay West last night.  No no wait, I went to Resonate at Wellspring.  That's because Bay West have changed their name to Wellspring and are calling their 6pm service Resonate.  I'm not a fan of the post-modern names, but this one does lead to all sorts of other delightful possibilities, as Heather pointed out, ( Read more... )

And just like that Hosea inadvertently left the door open for me to talk about law...

Now you know I hate to be the bringer of bad news, but you can't really patent a word. You could try to get copyright protection but i'm not sure the court would be convinced that it constitutes a literary work (despite how admittedly creative it is - plus, as the author Ben would technically get the copyright protection... that is, assuming nobody else has used it before him). Your best bet is to go for trademark protection, of course that'll cost you... plus you'd have to associate the word with some sort of goods or services that you were selling.

That'll be $200 please.
